The West Indies A cricket team is a cricket team representing a sporting confederation of the Caribbean countries: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago. (These are the countries of the former West Indies Federation, plus Guyana on the South American mainland, being originally British colonies.) It is the "second tier" of international cricket below the full West Indian cricket team.
